Solana Practicum Demo Day Bounty

Your Mission: Develop a cool and scalable Solana dApp project and deploy it on mainnet!

Applications are individual, but assistance from other people can be obtained.

About the Bounty

DApps, or decentralized applications, are software applications that run on a decentralized network, such as a blockchain. They can be used for a wide range of purposes, including financial transactions, supply chain management, identity verification, data storage, social networking, gaming, predictive markets, and file sharing. They can offer benefits such as increased security, transparency, and resistance to censorship compared to traditional centralized applications.

To successfully complete the Solana Practicum training program, participants are expected to build a dApp on Solana. We sponsored the bounty to reward the best projects that come out of the Solana Practicum program. Projects that are submitted before the deadline will be eligible to present to a jury made up of teams from Solana and Superteam at Online Demo Day after passing a preliminary evaluation. Build a cool project, acquire new technical skills, contribute to the open source community, and earn prizes!

Submission Requirements

At a minimum submissions for prizes should include the following items:

  • A simple user interface for interacting with the dApp
  • Using Custom Solana Programs or Native Programs or Solana Program Library
  • A well-written Readme file
  • Deployment of the dApp to a platform
  • A sharable GitHub link of the project.

To participate in the bounty, you must register for Solana Practicum and submit your project to the cohort platform that is the main platform for Solana Practicum.

The following criteria will be considered when evaluating projects: value added to users, value added on Solana, feasibility, technical difficulty, use of decentralized technologies, scalability, volume of transactions, originality, potential impact, proposal, and user experience.

Note: If you have previously submitted a project and you want to make updates/changes for this bounty, you can resubmit by the deadline. Applications are individual, if you apply with multiple projects you must choose one project to continue with.

Resources

Participation in this bounty is entirely voluntary. Bounties are a way to learn and dabble in opportunities to build in web3. These are neither full time jobs nor project based engagement. Please be advised that the sponsors will not have time for individualized feedback due to the number of entries we receive.
